I have a toro 20031 personal pace mower. The spring that lets the personal pace return is broke. Have new spring, but can't seem to figure out how it goes back on. Also have to replace the drive cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!

PS:I have the old spring off.

It's not uncommon for them to break. I thought I had a picture, but don't. If nobody comes up with one, I'll post one tomorrow. I think I have one in the barn.

As I remember, they can be very difficult to replace.

Thank you, I have the new spring on the arm but can't figure out how to attach it to the handle. Hate the idea of taking to dealer and spending 40.00 or so to get it fixed.

Here it is. Note that the right hand side of the spring inserts into the same hole as that piece of plastic. I remember it being a bear to fix.

Thank you very much for the picture. Got the spring in okay. Now have to change the drive cable.

Thanks again!!!
