Lawnboy circa 1967 aquanaut/air buoy evinrude parts

Hi. I am wondering if anyone could be of assistance. I have one of each, johnson air buoy and evinrude aquanaut.

The appear to be identical except for brand name. My questions are:

The johnson needs a new piston/rings and I would like to replace the rod needle bearings, upper and lower crankcase needle bearings and seals.

Does anyone know what engine this is? I see references to it being either a c series or d series...but I see nothing conclusive.
I have the piston out of the engine and I could measure the diameter, legnthe or whaterver specs you need, the bearings, length and diameter etc.
I think I found the compressor bearings, in the lower housing, but any specific information to part numbers, locations to buy parts or engine identification would be greatly appreciated. I could get pictures of the parts if necessary too.
thanks in advance!
Sam

I would absolutely love to see pics of that/those engines.

As far as I know they are "D" series engines. A picture could confirm that.

The piston, rings seals, bearings for the engine can still be obtained, even through aftermarket sources..
The compressor parts????Thats anyones guess.
