Want to disconnect Blade Clutch on Toro Mower

I have an OVH engine on an old walk behind self propelled Toro the blade clutch will not engage the blade. Is it a straight forward job to UN-install the blade clutch stuff and install a blade and a blade adapter directly to the engine shaft ?????

No. Unless changing the crankshaft seems straight forward to you! Usually BBC issues are easily resolved. Post the model # and I can share what usually goes wrong.

I did remove the bottom and it seems straight forward, there is a small belt the small pulley must have rusted off, all I found was a few bits and piece of the small pulley. I did take pictures I will try and post Sorry no model number.

Thanks I did find the model by digging around on the Toro site It is model 20490 I need the small pulley and the associated nut and bolt. From the picture it looks like a 3 inch-pulley.
