| I mowed my lawn a couple of weeks ago for the first time of the season and all went well. Today I took the mower out and after getting halfway through the front lawn, it quit and I can't get it started again. I cleaned the spark plug and it sparked but it was not wet with fuel. Also looked at the air filter which is clean. The fuel is new.
I would guess the problem is the carburetor or the fuel lines. I'd like to maybe rebuild the carb but would like a procedure to follow. Is there anywhere I can get instructions or an online manual? I have a Toro Reycler II. |

| Usually changing the fuel, removing the carb bowl, cleaning all the bowl nut holes, and flushing the fuel line w/ clean fuel does the trick. More specifics requires more info. |
|
| Is it a Tecumseh or Briggs engine? Could be water at the bottom of the carb. Loosen the bowl nut and let some fuel drain out. Make sure the engine is cold. |
