 o
honda GCV160 carb wires connection

There are three wires coming from the mower to the carb. Would like to know where each of those three wires is attached to the carb. There is one very fine wire that I'm pretty sure goes to the small hole on the right side carb spindle. There are two larger connect holes on the left side spindle (black in color). One of the other two wires is longer than the other. Would like to know which hole they are attached to at the carb. Thanks very much.

The out most shaft is the choke. Your control actuates this shaft when you choke the engine. The shaft closest to the block is the throttle shaft. The spring goes in the small hole next to the link.

The outmost shaft has two holes in it.(I've got a total of three wires to hook up) Both of the remaining two wires go into this outmost shaft correct? The short one goes into the leftmost hole of the outmost shaft and the longer wire goes into the rightmost hole in the outmost shaft? Is this correct?
Thanks again tomplum - you are the best. I think I'm going to just buy a new carb for $15+ plus some gaskets. Got this unit in a bag. Don't want to put the thing together and then find the carb is still no good. The Toro mower itself is in very good condtion.
