Not to hurt anyone's feelings but both of these mowers are entry level mowers and you'd better check that Kohler engine, I expect it is a Kohler Courage also an entry level engine not to be confused with the Kohler Command.

Depends on your budget. Toro makes good mowers but they make cheap lower end models too. Personally, if it has a stamped deck, I won't buy it.

Good brands are Toro (their higher end), Grass Hopper, Gravely, Hustler, Ariens, Country Clipper, Bad Boy, Bobcat and many others.

Top names at a premium price are Scag, Exmark, John Deere (not the Lowes models) and Dixie Chopper.

Stay away from the models at Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Etc.
