Parking brake issue on snapper

I have an older model front engine snapper...model # LT160H42DBV2. The mower starts fine and the blades will engage as well but when you release the parking brake the mower cuts off. I'm assuming there is a parking brake switch that is not working properly but have no clue as to where it is located. Any suggestions on a fix and can I temporarily bypass it until I can fix it? Thanks for any inputs. :)

I would follow the pedal in and it is probably hidden under the body. It shows to be a green/ red and a green / black wire set heading to the switch. Does this have 2 different seat switches? Below is a link to a schematic if you wish to work through this.

Thanks tomplum...I think I found the switch up underneath and of course it's in the worst place to get a wrench on the inside lol. Time to get dirty. Thanks again for the info and the schematic.
