hello everyone,

i hope you can help me. i have taken on project to help fix a honda hrd 536 lawnmower. the problem was that it does not drive.

after taking it to a lawn mower mechanic i have been told that there is a problem with the transmission. the belt spins the pulley but does not drive the wheels. the pulley also comes completely out of the whole it sits in and the mechanic has told me that this should not be the case. the pulley does not looks broken or damaged. i have included pictures to help you help me. everything else on the lawnmower works.

any suggestions or accounts of your experiences with these types of problems and how they were overcome would be very much appreciated.
