Strange operating mower:

A feller brought in a walk-behind mower. Said it didn't run at all, except if he primes it with something.

I finally got it to start and run erratically, but not smooth. Changed ignition coil, spark plug, carb, coil, gas and tank Blade not bent, and installed correctly (no run-out) , and a couple of things i forgot to mention, and not all at the same time! Gave it a drink of new gasoline. Nothing changed. Oh, i forgot--several new spark plugs!

This mower looks like new-not dirty, or ill treatment!

Owner came to get it today. When i told him everything i did to it, without any success, he handed me twenty bucks, thanked me for trying, loaded it up and left! WHEW!

RUSTY, How could you just give up?
Was it a make and model that anyone
here is familiar with?
It's possible that someone else
has run into this, and could
tell you exactly what the problem is.
Call that guy and have him bring it back.

I posted another message today, so go and look for it.
The guy traded it in on a used mower i had here.
And, i don't give up easily. RJ
PS: This machine is brand new, except for the P.O. and me, trying to make it run.
