I just bought a Craftsman mower with a B&S 19hp turbo cool I/C platinum engine the model # is 917256660. It hasn't ran in a year so I changed the oil, drained the gas, replaced the spark plugs and the air and fuel filter. The problem I am having is that the mower will start and idle for a little bit then die. I was able to get a cut out of it and when I tried to start it again is when the problem started. I check the gas cap and everything seems fine but I am not sure. I also removed the carberator and cleaned it but no luck in keeping it running. Could someone please save my sanity and tell me where to go next.
