Which mower

Been using a 18 year old LB M21 for years but it is on its last leg.
I love this mower but it is getting old and has lots of hours on it.
What I liked about the LB is the 3 sp. trans. On 3 it would do run a 4.1 MPH.
it mulched well and bagged good. A the 5hp 2 stroke never let me down.
So I am looking for a mower with good speed and both mulches and baggs well.
I have narrowed my search to these two mowers.
The Toro 20091 or the Snapper RP21675BDV.
I am not sure if I would care for the personal pace but the hardware
store has a demo i will try.
Both of these have the ground speed I and looking for in this price range.
What will be the main difference in these two mowers.
The toro has a 5 year and the snapper is only 2. Should that be a issue?
Both seem like good mowers and get good reviews.

Thanks brian

RE: Which mower

My neighbor has the Snapper and it is one of the loudest mowers I have ever heard (a high pitch type of loud which is extremely annoying). The Toro Personal Pace system is great and the warranty on the Toro makes it a no brainer in my opinion.

RE: Which mower

I have Snapper CRP2160KWV, the commercial big brother to the Snapper you listed. The highest speed on the Snapper is too fast sane folk so it will do what you want. It's like cruise control, just dial in your speed and steer. Snapper's disc-drive has been around for many years so must not be broke if they ain't fixed it.

RE: Which mower

After demoing mowers for the last 10 days or so this is what I found.
The toro was a good mower but I could not get used to the personal pace.
The ariens lm21 s was a great mower and did it all well. I just did not like the engine choices.
The honda was OK but the speed control was kinda hard to get used to.
Ended up with A snapper rp2187519 bv. This thing mulches to a fine powder
and I like the drive system. I can go from a snails pace to an outright run and any were in between.
Also got a killer deal as it was there demo model so I got it for $450.
i also wanted a Briggs engine as the kawasaki has not been god to me in the past. Hope it last as long as the LB m21 that I have had for the past 15 years.
