I agree it is a heavy mower. According to specs I read on it in a Gravely pamphlet this mower weighs in at 135 lbs which the heaviest I've seen for a 21" mower. It does feel fairly well balanced when I push down on the handle but does have some weight to it. It does appear to be built for much rougher use than I would subject it to so it should last many years. My only real apprehension is that it's a brand new model from them and any teething problems it may have. Seems the tranny would be getting a workout just from moving the mower around although it appears to be built like a tank. Really narrowed it down between this mower and Toro's heavy duty commercial mower with Honda GXE engine. Thanks for your input.
