| Hi - I recently R&R'd my 10550 carb. I never knew there was a pilot jet before. I cleaned everything real well. The motor ran pretty good and I raised the RPM's a little. But today it gave me a fit... it kept dying, over and over and over.
I was wondering if not putting the paper sticker back over the pilot jet could have caused this? |

| Nope. That sticker does nothing but keep the screw slot on the end of the jet clean and keeps dirt from getting in when you take the jet out. The jet doesn't vent to atmosphere unless it's come loose. Check to make sure that it's still seated. |
