| s b 14 john deere , blade wont stay engaged , the mower is 20 years old , i have not changed yhe belt could this be the problem the belt seems loose but i not sur how it should be i know the belt is old |

| Check your Operator presence handle and or locking mechanism first. The locking mechanism is on the right side fairly close to the top of handlebar, you can see where your OP handle engages the latch. |
