| Today I inherited the old Whites 22" 3.5 Briggs mower that I learned to cut grass with back in 1973...and got it to run, but I can't find an air filter for it...any ideas on where to find one? Everyone I have called has said the part shows up as obsolete...I don't really plan on using the mower, its more of a pride thing I guess, knowing yes, it still runs and is complete. The model number is 92902-0986-01-73060409. |

| Bill Kapaun is correct. 390055 is for complete air cleaner assembly including element. Should be $10 to $12. 270579 is for foam element only. Approx $3. You need to go to a more competent lawnmower shop. These parts have been used for more than 30 years and are widely available. Suggest you pull down PDF of illustrated parts list from Briggs website. Go to "SUPPORT", then "MANUALS". Enter your model number as 092902-0986-99. |
