I have a Toro Super Recycler # 20042. It has been running great for quite a while. All of a sudden today, I start it up and the engine runs about half the speed it used to. Nice and smooth, just slow.

About 2 months ago it had a full tune up (new plug, air filter, oil change, sharpened blade). Has fresh gas too.

This carb has no screw adjustments on it, supposedly it is a fixed speed. I took off the plastic cover and I can rev the throttle manually. All the linkage seems free and clear of any debris. Is there something in the governor mechanism that can be adjusted or repaired?
