Which Mower? - Small Lawn

Moving into a new home. Small lawn. Two fenced-in rectangular areas with shrubs mixed around and butting up to neighbors brick wall (zero lot line). Which way to go? Gas? Electric? Battery?

Would like something that can get the job done easily and not spend a lot of money. Thanks.

The grass areas maybe 10' X 70' and 10' X 20'. Some shrubs and HVAC interspersed.

With less than 1000sf, you are good candidate for electric rotary mower. However, odd shape of larger area (10' x 70') means you will need 100ft 12ga extension cord which will be somewhat inconvenient to handle. Not sure whether battery powered will have enough grunt for your application.

Thanks. I measured and the 10 X 20 is out (will be stones). 10 X 70 is more like 12 X 50. Flat, zoysa grass. What about a reel mower?

Sounds like you could do the whole thing with a human-powered reel mower. Zoysia is ideal to be cut with a reel mower. Best Wishes--Carl
