Murry lawn tractor stopped

I was riding it and it stopped. Would not start. Put in new solenoid same thing. It will start by manually overriding the solenoid but stops right away. Tested start switch seemed ok. Found 2 safety switch and they seemed to have problem. Took them to a repair shop he said that wasn't the problem because it started. What to do? Thanks, Bruce

    Have you checked the fuse?

When you say it won't start, does that mean it cranks, but won't run, or that it won't crank period?

IF the carb has a fuel solenoid on it, that should click when the key is turned ON/OFF.
IF it doesn't, that's a good indicator the fuse is bad.
