| I have this honda hr214. the pull start rope snapped so i replaced it and then put it back together. But the arm that pops out when you pull the rope to grab the fly wheel wont come out. And i have every part i need because i looked at a parts diagram. I dont know what to do any help? |

| The arm you mention is what grabs the flywheel to turn it. Was there two arms originally? Most recoil starters have two arms. When you rewound the rope, did you also rewind the pulley/spring inside the housing? Maybe the spring is broken too. With my short experience with Honda engines and mowers, the only thing i can think of to use them for is boat anchors! JMHO! Rusty |
