International Harvester lawnboy clone

Just thought you might like to see my International Harvester walk-behind mower. It is a Lawnboy with a different gas-tank-shroud. It has been somewhat cobbled, as it was once a self-propelled model, but those parts have been removed. Has the correct engine for self-propelled.

International Harvester Model 3324

No issues, I cleaned it up, cleaned carb, etc., runs good (so far).

Here is another photo.

International sold these for just a few years somewhere in the later 60s. A tax dodge. Fed said in order to get a tax break a dealership had to sell both riding mowers and push mowers. International had no push mower so made deal with LB until they could build one of their own.

Hello there. I have found a similar mower to this. I have some questions about parts and restoration? If anyone has any information I would be happy to post some pics and go into further detail. Thank you in advance, Chris

Other than the paint color, and a unique gas-tank shroud, this is pure Lawnboy, and is pretty much a D-600 engine with early electronic ignition.
