Hello everyone,
I just stumbled across this site and love the in-depth knowledge many of you have on the older Lawnboys. I'm a newbie to the collecting aspect of Lawnboys but have always loved them from afar from the time when I was a little boy and watching the commercial guys mow our neighborÂs yard.
CanÂt put my finger on it but thereÂs just something about the old Lawnboys that I really like. Simple, rugged, dependable, light, etc. Back when I was a kid they were using bricktops. HavenÂt found any of those yet, but hopefully some day if IÂm really lucky.
Anyway, I did find a Lawnboy 7264 that appears to be in ok condition (no cracks in the deck and mostly just dirty) and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn more about this model and particularly its engine type. I think it might be a D-600 but would appreciate any additional information.
Also a dumb question but is 32:1 the right fuel ratio for older units like this one?
Thanks!
