I am into lawn stripping and I am using a Harrier 56,
I wanted to raise the height higher, It was set to the highest which was 2.3 inches. It will not go higher.I like 3 inches to 3.5 in Maryland.
Anyway I took a look to see what to do. I have a spare engine and I was going to shorten the shaft 1 inch to get the height i wanted.
To remove the old engine it has a friction wheel which looks like a problem.
Anyway here is the kicker. The friction plate is curved like a dish antenna.
The blade when tightened actually bends or bows to meet the friction plate.
This is their protection to guarantee that the crankshaft will not get bent.
Has anyone seen or worked on one if these??
