Dear Fellow Motorheads,
I am going to mount a Suzuki Hayabuse muffler to my 11 hp Coleman generator per a web write up. http://joelsgarage.blogspot.com/2006/03/quiet-generator-muffler.html
The thing I like about it is the improvement in noise but what I don't like if the plumbing that he used as an exhaust system. I plan on using tubing such as 1 inch EMT or similar. It is smoother and I think will be better looking.
My question is: is there a source for the flange that comes off of that Tecumseh motor? As it is, I only have the gasket to use as a template so that I can make my own. Neat would be the ability to buy a few of them to fab up this exhaust. Any ideas on where I could get such a piece or does it exist. The tin can muffler presently bolts to the motor with 2 bolts.
Thanks,
QuickRick
