Echo PB-2100 Blower

Pull cord spring came unwound - is not broken.
Can someone tell me the trick to rewinding the spring and loading it back in the pull cord housing.
I've tried intstalling it on the rope pulley but then couldn't get it inside the rope housing...tried putting it in the housing, but then couldn't get the rope pulley back on....
I know there is probably some little trick I'm not aware of.
Thanks in advance.

Admitedly, I'm not familiar with blowers. However, generally speaking, if nothing is damaged there should be a way to load the spring, wind the cord, and keep it that way till you get it installed on the housing. Maybe a hole you could put a screwdriver or allen wrench in to keep it wound. Though, if it came unwound on you, I'd be skeptical that something hadn't broken or come loose - like a retainer pin.
