Troy bilt mower won't crank

I have a Troy bilt fast start push mower. Old carburetor shot. Replaced with new B&S one. Mower has no primer bulb. Manufactured that way. When I prime carb with carb spray, will crank and run. When stop and let cool, mower will not crank back up. What could be problem?
