I have just bought a older 1861 cub cadet.to start off with ,it had water in the carb got it cleaned,started mowing with it,it was doing good then all the suden it starts flooding out and spitting and sputtering and dies,tried to crank it back up it was turning over but would not start.tried again and it would not do nothing.checked the fuse and it was blown,replaced it and still nothing.got to looking at the key ignition and the plugin on the wires had a melted spot on it,unpluged it and one of the prongs was croated off.it is a 4 posion switch and a 6 prong,bought a nother switch but still have nothing.??????????
