I do not have an answer but when I emailed Snapper as to replacing the boots on the rear axle, I got a good response.

Thanks I will try that. It has to be an easier way than removing the deck and spindle.

I have again tried to send it. Apparently the first attempt wouldn't go because of the size of the attachment but I didn't get a sending error. Or perhaps I just muffed it. If you do not get it I'll try from a third service.

Thanks, got it this time. Finally got nut off with a high speed cut off tool and did not hit spindle threads. ;-)
