Marine Fuel In Lawn Mowers

I have 6gal of marine fuel that I got from my neighbor that just moved away. Ive herd that from some people that its best to use this blend of gas for small engines other than boats such as lawn mowers due to less ethanol. I have a brand new husqvarna zero turn mower what a 21hp Kholer engine. Is this true? Just wanted to get a second opinion about this before I use it and and/or damage the engine.

Safest would be to add it a gallon at a time in your car.

Questions I have is how long has the fuel been stored in the can? Are you saying the octane rating is below 87? I think most marine octane ratings are around 91 to 101?? IMO the octane rating wouldn't matter madder much if higher the engine would just run better and create more power to point. Probably not above 93 or lower than 87 octane rating anyway. But, I would question how long it set in the can you may have to add and additive.
