I just replaced the engine on my reel mower with a brand new honda gx 160 engine. I put in oil and new premium fuel. It starts on the first pull but only runs about 5-10 seconds and then dies as if it's starved for fuel. After sitting for a minute it starts right up and the cycle starts all over. I have the fuel valve turned on. I used the recommended oil.

Oh, when I bought the engine from Northern Tool it was not in a box so I didn't have an owners manual with it. It's possible I didn't perform some startup procedure because I was unaware. Any help would be appreciated.
