I doubt that you can. Sears pricing on this is actually pretty cheap for a new one, or there are plenty of these things w/ blown ELS engines that a used one could be found. I've not seen a badly damaged one before, just where the weld pulled away from the top.

Thanks Tom thats pretty much what I thought, I shall start searching for a used one.Only bad part about a new one is the frt is almost as much as the deck. lol

Be sure to use the Sears search feature to see if the service center may have one in stock. It may save you on freight. A service dealer that is local to you may have a distributor that has one in stock. They can call for freight estimates, tho things like these, Sears pricing is usually pretty good compared to the EHP list. It's worth a phone call though.
