| I have to buy a new mower very soon and I am thinking Honda or Toro. Anybody could recommend a good model under $500?
Also, is there anything I should avoid or know about these mowers? Much obliged Mandonio |

| I had a Honda and sold it. The Hondas do not roll backwards satisfactorily. This is a problems with all of them, even the newest ones. Before buying one put it on a level smooth surface and with the engine off try to pull it backwards. then compare to other mowers. You will see what I mean. This is a design defect in there drive mechanism. Also the Honda is suitable only if you have a smooth lawn without many surface imperfections. If you have any rough areas in your lawn, get a mower with high wheels on the rear. |
