| Need some help. Here's what my 15hp B&S mower sounds like when I turn the key. Jumped battery, changed spark plug and no luck. Click on below hyperlink to hear what it sounds like. Is this a bad starter? Thanks very much. |

| They are right. Everything is working except the starter gear is not engaging the flywheel. |

| Sounds like the Bendix drive is not engaging . Ensure you have good clean and tight connections so that proper voltage is reaching the starter motor. |

| That's the very same noise I here when Donna calls.... Either the drive itself is worn or the battery cables are switched side to side. |
