I'm looking at purchasing an older Dixon ZTR Commercial mower and am wondering if others have had good experiences with this equipment. This mower has a 60" mowing deck, Kohler 624CC engine, and costs $2500. For a new 60" Commercial ZTR I would be paying big bucks, which I'm trying to avoid. I'm also a bit concerned with the lower-end Residential ZTRs that are found at the big-box stores, as I've seen some poor reviews. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for your input.

Is this machine a hydro or mechanical drive? The mechanical units had chains and cone clutches that were not the best and were time consuming to maintain. Very few shops know how to repair them.

This has a hydrolic drive, I believe. Thanks for the heads-up on the mechanical drives.
