Carby Diaphragm Problem

Posted by davethai (My Page) on

Hello All

My first post at this great site may sound a little silly.

Whilst cleaning out my brigss and stratton sprint 375 fuel tank, I damaged the "diaphragm casket". I got hold of a new one, but it is in 2 parts. Rubberized and cardboard.

My question is, which one goes on first. As is which one would be against the carby body underside?

Many thanks

Dave

The rubbery part goes against the tank body. If you look at the old one, you'll see the indents from the carb body impressed into the paper gasket.
