Toro 74262

I work for a company that owns one of these zero turn mowers. It was built in 06. It is at most 3 years old. Since it is a commercial operation, I am not sure about warranty. Last year the left drive wheel sheared the key between the drive shaft and the drum. Both pumps had to be replaced as they were "upgraded" and the new one would not work with the original equipment. Yesterday the same thing happened again. The dealer says no warranty. I am trying to find out if anyone else has had similar problems with these units. The mower is actually a back up unit and might have 5 months use since the last repair. Is there anything the operator could be doing to cause this problem?
