Snow blower recommendation

I am new to this forum and to snow blowing and as a first time home buyer would like to get some advice on type of snow blower suitable in my case. I have flat driveway (asphalt) approx 50-55 ft straight and small walkway from front porch to driveway. Would single stage blower with capacity to throw upto 30 ft be sufficient or two-stage blower is required? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Tex: It all comes down to economics and how much snow you get (deep) You have a small drive so if you can find a cheapo single go with it . Otherwise pick up a small 5hp two stage and be done with it .

A single stage will more than handle your needs. I'd go after a Toro two cycle, due to the simplicity and reliability of the engine.

Can you rejet these snowblowers like the lawnboy pushmowers?

The R-Tec engine is basically the Dura Force engine. If it's running correctly with a CLEAN carb, leave it alone.
