$4.00 a quart is not 50% off the selling price at least in my area. $4.00 a quart may be a good deal online if you don't have to pay for shipping.

You are both wrong. It is still on sale. You have to pick it up at the store. You have to add the code and it will come to $4 each. And in my state that is a deal!
They do not ship oil.

Advanced auto has oil sale every 2 months in store 10.99 gallon last sale I don't buy quarts. That 15w40 Rotella 22% reduce wear I buy 3 gallons when on sale 18 gallons year take care most oil I use this oil goes all my crankcase gas diesel engines. I live in south so cold starts not problem an don't have newer engines that oil weight senitive.

They have 5 qt. containers of Mobil 1 at our local Walmart for $22.00. No Advanced Auto Parts within 50 miles. When Mobil 1 jumped their price 50% after gulf spill, I started using Penzoil Synthetic.

Normally try to buy my Oil in Bulk . Rotella-T 15w-40 5-Gal Barrel for $50.00 and my Auto Valvoline or Quaker State High Milage / Extended Milage around $35.00 for 5-Gal Barrel. I get my Amsoil 2-Stroke in Bulk also when ever it goes on Sale , usually around $25-$30 bucks for 1-Gal Jug.

In my area Mobil 1 is priced $5.00 per quart +-. A $1.00 difference in price per quart is a good deal but not one that is worth getting all that excited about. The annual savings for a home lawnmower is $1.00 per year and for a car $20.00 per year. As mentioned another way to get a price break is to buy in larger quantities. Or to switch to "dino" oil.
