I have a Kohler CV25 on a Great Dane Chariot Mower
It started smoking (Blue smoke) and then when i shut it off, a nasty smelling (burning leaves/Wood smelling)dark brown smoke came bellowing out of the exhaust.
Any idea what happened?
Thanks |

| Whitish/ blue smoke all of a sudden bellowing out could indicate head gasket failure. Black smoke indicates excessive fuel. Brown wood smoke from the exhaust isn't textbook. Are you using too green of firewood in your Kohler firebox attachment? ;) Verify oil level isn't too high which could indicate fuel saturation. Does it still smoke on re-start? Other abnormalities? |
