Hi All:

I am a newby!!!

I have aquired a 1988 Wheelhorse 312-8 with the Kohler Magnum 12 hp engine.

I got it running

The unit will only idle.

I can see one part of the throttle move when the throttle is raised or lowered at the dash control.

The second bar does not move.

the second bar goes to the carb.

I am able to rev the motor up manually at the carb.

I suspect that the previous owner messed up the springs or something.

I am seeking a diagram or description of how these two linkages interact or how they are supposed to work.

I am trying to get this unit ready for snow, I remove the snow for 5 of my neighbors, all retired or widowed or both.

The walk behind snowblower requires too much time and energy.
