| Hi, I already posted in the cacti & succulents forum...This is my mom's cactus, for about 7 years now. My nephew bought it for her when he was little. :) The cactus was about 4 inches tall then. Now, it grows these new cacti. What is it??? Thanks! |

| I would agree, and add that it is probably one of the hybrids that is somewhat larger than the species, and is in desperate need of better light. It could also be (less likely) a Cleistocactus winteri that has been starved for water and light and is growing in African Violet soil. |

| Someone else also suggested a stretched Mammillaria Spinosissima. It definitely needs a lot more light! Thanks for the help! :) |
