Hello folks,

I had sowed a few seeds some time back and forgot where I sowed which seed..Now, the plants have grown and it tough to
identify the plants. Could you please help?? I have uploaded the pictures.
I had sowed tomato, chilli, coriander and strawberries.

Thanks!
Fiona

Top two look like Tomato.

Agreed. The bottom is none of what you asked about. It looks more like a mustard (Brassica) of some kind. Perhaps weed seed in the pot.

I hope your pots have drainage holes. There's a lot of water standing on top of the soil. Plus I believe strawberry seed needs stratification in order to germinate.

yes.. you need pots with drainage..

and a MEDIA.. for potting ...

usually.. mother earth does NOT work well in pots ... or it doesnt make the job easy ... and as a newbie.. i do want to try to make it easier for you ... [a presumption based on not recognizing a tomato ... forgive me if such is wrong]

think of it this way.. roots need air.. almost as much as the plant needs water ... and you can see .. from your pix.. that there is no air left for the roots in your pots ...

the third pot.. my first instinct said radish.. but i am no ID expert ...

That's a brassica, ken, and radishes are in the brassica family, so yours is a fair guess. It looks like a young mustard to me.

who knew.. well you guys.. lol.. that radish and mustard are related ... go figure ...

you ever wonder.. how it came to be.. that some peep.. looks at some of the smallest seeds on the face of the earth .. mustard.. and thinks to themselves.. hmmm.. if i grind these to a pulp.. and add vinegar.... maybe i will get something to put on my pterodactyl hot dogs??? .... probably the darn Romans.. with there rotting fish gut condiments background.. but i digress.. lol ...
