Can anyone tell me what the "yellow" plant is in this picture?

Alchemilla perhaps.

Please note it's very likely that this is a copywrite violation
if you post an image without owners consent.

Sure does look like Alchemilla.

And as for the copyright, I will apologize in advance for my other two posts. (Although, in my defense, these pictures are from a 1990's catalog from a company in Michigan that went out of business about 10 years ago)

I wouldn't worry about a copyright violation; it appears to be fair use - educational purposes.
