Verbena, California Poppy, Cosmos or just weeds...?

I have found masses of these seedlings throughout my yard.
At first they were only found in one flower bed next to my verbena imagination so I assumed that the plants were self seeding. Over the past few weeks I've begun to find these seedlings everywhere throughout my yard. I'm starting to believe that they're not self seeded verbena because they have lighter foliage and a slightly different leaf pattern. (You can see that in the first image)

I previously tried to sow a wildflower garden in the area where the seedlings were first discovered but some are popping up 60+ feet away. The mix contained both California Poppies and Cosmos. Since these plants don't have reddish stems, I'm inclined to rule out Cosmos. Some also appear to have round cotyledons still attached and I don't believe that California Poppies have these. I could be mistaken though.

Does anyone have any idea what they are? I'm really hoping they're not weeds because there are too many to hand pull...
