unidentified house plant - foliage

I have had this plant for years, cutting from a great aunt who gave it to my mother, who gave it to me; people often comment on it, love it, want it; it grows easy from woody stem cuttings; the leaves are thick, on long stalks; it does not flower; it just grows, and can take quite some neglect.

as you can see, leaves eventually fall off and the woody stem slowly elongates, it never branches;

does anyone know its name? I live in the UK; the first two UK respondents will receive a cutting in the post if you wish! (when the risk of frost has passed) many thanks; Peter

Hi Peter,

I hate to ask but are you still able to share cuttings of this plant? I promise I would share it with others. I always share and am very good with plants. They call me the "plant lady". Perhaps I could share something in return. I have a pretty good collection of succulents...thanks for considering. Francine.

I do not know if the two individuals before me had any luck making contact about cuttings of this wonderful little plant, but I have searched high and low and cannot acquire one anywhere! If you are sharing cuttings I would be the happiest person in the world if I could swap for one!
