Can you tell us, is that a succulent?

Can you tell us anything about its flowers?

The house is in Atlanta. We moved in at the end of July, and I can not remember seeing any flowers at that time. If it blooms, it must do so spring or early summer. It does not look like a succulent to me. It seems to handle cold well. No obvious damage after several hard freezes so far. The plant carries it's leaves at the tip of the stems. The plant is dome shaped when viewed as a whole.

Reminds me of Iberis sempervirens.

Now that I understand the scale, Iberis looks like a good match. The leaves are not the dark green I would expect, though.

Thank you. I looked at Iberis online and it could be it, but not 100% sure. I couldn't find any close up photos of the leaves and stems to compare. The leaves on the end of stems looks more "open" on the Iberis than on my plant. The size of the plant matches fairly well to Iberis. Wouldn't mind if it turns out to be one, as the flowers are pretty.

My mom used Iberis/candytuft to edge flowerbeds at a couple of houses, and I think I used to have to trim them. That was multiple decades ago, but I remember enough to be able to say that the stems on your plant are appropriate for candytuft.

Your plant is currently in the middle of putting out new growth; eventually the new growth should match the older foliage in size and color. If when the period of growth ends, the new growth doesn't quite match the old growth, environmental conditions would be the reason (cold weather -- which we certainly had here several weeks ago, and you're not too far south of me -- or a relative lack of water).

Thanks for the extra information. I will keep the plant. It could probably do with some pruning at the appropriate time. Looking forward to the hopefully abundance of flowers!

No, I have not trimmed it. It's growing next to Phlox which flowers around the same time.
