Thank you. And I know it would, but I don't have any of my planting supplies down there and I don't want to bring it then have to store it. Do you think any of these plants could be planted together?

the worst thing about the setup.. is that there is no drainage ... as it could spoil the funeral home ...

mom nearly killed a bunch of plants from dads funeral ... trying to make them aquatics ... lol ...

if anyone is staying behind ... leave the plants when you move.. get settled.. and when you are ready ... have then warp them individually .. bare root.... like burritos ... in 2 layers of newspaper ... and stick them all in a smallish box ... and have them 2 day them to you ...

i could fit all that in a 12 x 12 x 18 box.. with room to spare ...

you dont need the stress of messing with it all during the move.. and take that from an idiot who moved 1650 potted plants.. when he moved ...

ps: even if you decide to take them.. pack them the way i suggest.. and take the media and pots with you.. empty ....

Thanks for the tips. When I went down for the fall semester I took my plants with me then and supported them on the floor board of my truck.

its all about whats easiest for you ... i was just sharing an idea ...

I'm not clear at this point. Is it still a basket of 8 plants together?

Hopefully you'll have these for many years. I do companions based on light tolerance, so I would separate them to these categories, maybe just 2 pots until too big, then separate more later, or move to bigger pots.

Don't really like direct light:
Dumb Cane- Dieffenbachia-
Arrowhead Vine- Syngonium podophyllum-
Nerve Plant- Fittonia verschaffeltii- (this is in a different category of fussiness than the others)
Peace Lily- Spathiphyllum-

Likes some direct morning or late afternoon sun:
Parlour Palm- Chamaedorea elegans-
Striped Dracaena- Dracaena fragrans
Aglaonema
Croton- Codiaeum Variegatum- (this one being the most tolerant of sun)
