I looked up crassula and it looks a lot alike but the way it was growing in the drs office hanging over was like the pictures of donkey tail so I don't know but I hope mine gets to where its cascading over the sides like theirs.

reminds me of Peperomia. Could that be it (no bloom at its end, just a 'rattail' looking thing)?

I agree it is hard to discern a whole lot from these blurry/out of focus/dark pix. The "long green stalky flower things" description also made me think of Peperomia (like Karen), but I don't see any in the pix.

No, it is not Donkey Tail (Sedum morganianum).
No, I don't think it is any Crassula.

Jeannie, do you believe it is a succulent? The leaves look very thin to me, but maybe cupped. Is that so?

I have a suggestion, if you could please...tomorrow morning, when there is sunlight, take the plant outside ~ have someone hold it for you or put on the ground (maybe something in pic for scale) & get a bit further away from it~in order to get an in-focus pic. :)

A clear pic is worth a thousand words. This is a guessing game.

My best guess at this moment is a Pilea (like P. depressa), Baby's Tears.

I have no idea still, just came back as a spectator. But looking at the pics again, I notice it's said the cuttings were in water. If it's a succulent, this might need some adjustment. The usual procedure with succulent plants is to let the cut callous before attempting propagation. Then a very coarse, airy, quick-drying mix would be used, not potting soil. I would encourage you to continue attempting to ID it with a better pic in case it's in danger of rotting in the current setup.
