The link is to a picture of a very, very big tree.... mine is a very small tree that won't get that big... same family?
thanks

Yours is a baby. F benjamina are frequently kept as house plants but can be forest sized.

Outdoors in zone nine it will likely reach 10 meters in height AND width.

I think this is actually something else, the leaves and stems look different to me - thicker and with a different surface in both cases. Shape of leaves seems also to have a different taper. The way to check would be to compare with known weeping figs elsewhere in the vicinity.

yes bboy I agree...this somehow looks like some kind of
miniature tree.... but it seems so fragile... when I tried to prune it that is what happened (second pic) I have not seen anything in the neighborhood like it...and when I look up Weeping Fig...its just not the same

Rokse,
It looks like a Seven Sons Flowering tree to me.
See pics online.
Did it get fragrant white flowers on it last fall?

IMO the foliage on the first pic looks very much like Ficus benjamini. There are different cultivars, yours looks like a dwarf type. And the shrub Heptacodium has different veins so that doesn't fit.

Does it have white sap when pruning?
Bye, Lin

LIkely a weeping fig variant, as suggested. I think later I saw a similar cultivar at a garden center here.

no flowering ever...and when I tried to prune it there was no good response....as you can see in the second pic.
but no white sap, no budding.
