What is this messy vine? Help!

Hi there

I'm trying to restore my garden with natives. This vine is swallowing up much of the property's rear. What is it? Is it invasive? Native?

Looks a lot like Muehlenbeckia complexa.

I agree....aka "wire vine". Native to New Zealand, it is a pretty aggressive spreader/climber. Although not formally listed as an invasive species, it has naturalized throughout some native plantings in the Bay area, specifically the Golden Gate Recreation area and the Presidio.
