| Hi , Just trying to establish a postive ID on this plant. It is a large shrub or small tree (about 10 feet tall )- is only a couple of years old and has not flowered yet. Leaves have no typical Myrtaceae scent or oil glands. It does have a dilute milky, sticky sap. It is growing in Sydney, Australia. The owner indicates that it was sold to him asTelopea speciosissima -- I am not convinced that this is a "Waratah". Any thoughts would be welcome, thanks. Tait. |
